Im Jahr des Herren 2004 zur Mitte des 5. Monats begab es sich, dass wieder einmal Ungläubige aus dem Süden des Landes, genauer gesagt aus Manching und Schrobenhausen, sich mit dem Erdbus gen Norden begaben. Dort sollten sie mit anderen Ungläubigen aus Vaaarel zum Motorsegeln bekehrt werden. Begleitet wurden sie von einer weisen Frau und zwei Männern, denen das Prozedere auf dem unbekannten Eiland namens Juist bereits einigermaßen bekannt war.

Doch an einem großem Gewässer, namens Nordsee endete ihre Fahrt mit dem Erdbus und sie wurden erstmals in kleine Flugmaschinen gesteckt, welche sie auf die Insel Juist beförderten. Dort wurden sie von den Regenten der Bekehrungsstätte, Toni und Rainer, begrüßt.

Daraufhin hieß man sie sich in verschiedene Gruppen einzuordnen um den Tagesablauf vernünftig gestalten und sie neben dem Fliegen beschäftigen zu können.

Für diese Gruppen wurden ihnen Experten zur Seite gestellt:

 Jens den Soz. Päd.; welcher sie in die Geheimnisse des Managements einweisen sollte, was aber nur teilweise gelang. (Ordnungsdienste)
 Johannes, den Herrn übers Balsaholz, dem Hermann zur Seite stand, und der ihnen zeigte, wie man Flugzeuge schnitzt.
 Rolf , den Beherrscher von Kompass und Landkarte, der ihnen vermittelte wie man die Luftwege findet.
 Nina und Philipp die Außertürigen, welche sie vor die Tore führten und sie lehrten im Watt zu verschlammen ohne die Krabben zu jagen.
 Ralf und Horst die Drachenbezwinger, bei denen so manche Naht gelegt wurde, und wo die heiße Luft aus dem Ballon entfloh.
 Roger und Jakob, die mit ihnen so manche Stunde in der Dunkelkammer verbrachten und dabei so manches Bild entwickelten.

In den Fluggruppen wurden sie von Günter, Helmut, Hans, Peter, Kurt und Uwe in die Künste der Luftfahrt eingewiesen. Es gäbe so manche Geschichte über die Flugkünste der Ungläubigen zu berichten, doch dazu schweigt die Höflichkeit des Chronisten.

Dreimal täglich gab es erlesene Speisen und Getränke, woran sie sich laben konnten und sie waren vollen Lobes über die Qualität, nur die Zeit diese Köstlichkeiten zu sich zu nehmen war etwas kurz.
Auch erkannten sie manche Köstlichkeit am nächsten Tag in einer anderen Form wieder.

Nach dreizehn Tagen aber, sie hatten sich gerade an den Tagesablauf, die Spielregeln und aneinander gewöhnt, waren sich vereinzelt etwas näher gekommen, da schickte man sie auf dem Seeweg wieder zurück nach Bayern, wo sie das Loblied auf die Jubi verkünden und ihre gerade erworbenen Schlüsselqualifikationen in ihre weitere Ausbildung einbringen sollten.

Mit diesem Auftrag machten sie sich auf den Heimweg.

Azubis: Bei welcher Firma sind Sie in welcher Funktion angstellt?
Herr Kuck: Ich arbeite bei Airbus im Standort Varel als Ausbilder eingestellt.
Azubis: Wie oft waren Sie schon hier?
Herr Kuck: Ich bin dieses mal das 5. mal mit dabei.
Azubis: Welche Rolle soll der Ausbilder Ihrer Meinung nach hier auf Juist spielen?
Herr Kuck: Die Ausbilder sollten als Begleiter mitfahren.

Herr Kuck: Das sie mehr Verantwortung übernehmen und besser Miteinander kommunitieren.

Herr Kuck: Keine Veränderungen.
Azubis: Wie beurteilen Sie das Verhältniss der Standorte zueinander?
Herr Kuck: Es ist schon gut. In manchen Fällen ist es vielleicht noch etwas verbesserungswürdig.

Saturday night saw another disappointment for the french contingeant. A challenge was laid down by the French boys, however, this was not be another team event in witch the French have proved shady in the past . The chosen event was to be arm wrestling. The britsh representated nominated was Mr Steven "3Man"Colclough, the challenge facing him was a tough one but hopes were high on the british side. The man that stepped up for the French was nameless but answered to the the name "Stud".
The competition got underway and "3 Man" Colclough appeared to have everything under control until the French decided to get up to their old tricks. Slowly more men piled on to their French mans hand until 15 French arms were pulling against the might of the British representative. At 15 men to one the competition looked secure for the French until La Veiche produced a can of Spinach and dropped it in to "3 mans" mouth. The French didn't of time to blink as the French were driven through the table faster than they were out of the last Word Cup.
This win was another in a long line of disappointing defeats for the French, ah well lads keep on drinking the red wine .

On saturday august 16, seven members of the Airbus training staff arrived at Juist for an important meeting.
The V.I.P meeting took place in the congress centre of Jubi Juist.
The celebrities were Uwe Neuhaus, Mareike Hammerschmidt-Wilkens, Gérard Soum, Francois Maurens, Gary Griffiths, Mick Fleming and Odette Peyran.The topic of this meeting was the ICP - Intercultural Competence Programme, which is a new developement by Airbus. What is ICP about? It contains 4 steps were apprentices and workers will be contacted with international competences. For example, one step is to establish international contacts. This contains that you do an exchange with another Airbus country or you participate with the intercultural seminar on Juist. On Juist you can get first impressions and you can collect your own experiences e.g. talking to people from different countries you can reduce your prejudices. People have come to Juist with some of their own ideas of other cultures. Reliable sources had said that French girls think that German girls don't shave their legs and that British boys are convinced that Germans girl don't shave their arm pits.There are some English who don't like tea and prefer to sing goodnight to their horse rather than their wife. In Spain there is only one special aera where paella comes from, and in Germany leather pants and leather braces aren't the most famous clothes. But we are growing together..............

Outward Bound is a notion from the English sea travel which means so much such as a young person leaves his childhood behind itself to become an adult. The courses in these schools are a preparation for an active and responsible life.
The first Outward Bound Schools appeared on the English coasts. At that time they went completely new ways. They offered crash courses of three to four weeks. The local position had been chosen in the nature for these schools, because the nature can be wonderful, interesting and also very dangerous, too.
Therefore the JUBI is on the island of Juist. These school should mediate the key-qualifications (helpfulness, teamwork etc ….). This can be reached by challenges like flying.

Situated approximately 7Km down the coast of the island is the town of Juist. The path from the JUBI goes straight into the town itself and can be either walked or cycled. There is also a taxi, in the form of a horse and cart, available to and from the town during the day. The town has a variety of shops and amenities which stock a wide range of products to suit peoples needs and requirements. Shops include:
Supermarket – This stocks a wide range of food and drink including some British products.
Chemist – Products such as sun protection can be found here along with other medicines that may be required (after long nights out)!
Photography Shop – This shop stocks a wide range of cameras and photography accessories at reasonable prices. This shop is useful for those who like to take home memories of their time on the island.
Entertainment within the town is varied depending on the area within the town visited. Relaxing bars and hotels can be found to the south of the town and the clubs and larger bars to the north. Restaurants are scattered over the town and vary in the type of food available.
The Discotech on the North beach is the main club within the town. A wide variety of drinks can be found inside the club and the average cost to get in is 3 Euros. Music ranges from Techno to Rock and Roll and theme nights occur throughout the week.
A Nuunery near the centre of the town is a challenge for any willing person!
“Any chance Ace?”

After a long 14 hour journey from the UK the British lads could not think of anything better to do than have a 20 a side football match on the dunes of Juist. The Airbus Apprentices from around the world were divided into two teams of mixed nationality one team in shirts and one in skins. Because the unfit lads did not want to take their shirts off they nominated themselves for shirts. This selection may have caused the game to be biased towards the shirts team and had a major impact on the events during the game.
The match was played at a very high tempo with crunching tackles flying in everywhere. French divers overshadowed the match as false free kicks were awarded. One French Gymnast forgot he was playing football and tumble tackled everything in his way performing flips and spectacular dives. His name cannot be mentioned this tall, dark haired, shirtless French midfielder did not want everyone to know about his poncy profession in gymnastics.
The striking from the skins side was of international quality. Little can be said about the shirts as the striker who scored their opening goal changed teams after being sick down his shirt due to his excessive cheese and ham consumption over the previous 48 hours. The game ended with a superb British link up finished by Nick Hannam which his celebration can only be described as boring. After the game the Sun of Juist got some views of how the game went from the players.
British Nick, 19 from the shirts side said “At the end of the day we played hard but not hard enough. There were two many individuals not working as a team.” Not happy Nick went on to say “I am gutted and will not be able to sleep tonight. Finally he said “I am a winner and will demand a rematch, I was robbed, a qualified referee would not have given a number of false free kicks mainly blatant dives from the French.”
The Skins captain’s views were somewhat different to Nicks. A la Vietch says “The lads were up to premiership standard of fitness and effort.” He then stated “A few French signings disappointed him as they did not perform. They were too busy practising their diving technique and not playing the game.”
The German lads had the points board ready to rate the diving style and technique; some excellent scores were awarded to the French players. That night the skins celebrated hard into the early morning, however the lightweight French and Germans did not come out.

The 26th of June started as a normal day at JUBI-Juist. All of the four aeroplanes were in flight, just as normal. Within 10 minutes all this would change. A violent storm came over the island. It Ripped through the town causing people to go inside. The wind speeds were between 55-60 knots (100-110 km/h). It was important to bring down the planes very quickly before it was too dangerous to fly, wind speeds were over 30 knots! Three of the four aeroplanes landed at the Juist airport. The final plane had to make an emergency landing at Emden.
The three aeroplanes had to be rescued by people, who held and secured the rudder and the wing tips. There were 10 people securing each plane to prevent it from lifting, as the wind speed was still too high (80 km/h is enough to lift one of the “Falcons”).
In the evening when the storm was over, Baloo’s phone rang: Baloo said: “Hello!?” the other person answered: “Hello, who is there?” Baloo:”Hello, who is THERE??”, the other person answered: “It is the police!”, Baloo: “Sure, and I am Santa Claus!”, Police: “No, it is really the police.”, Baloo: “Yes, and I’m really Santa Claus.”, Police: “O.K., if you don’t believe me you can call the police station at Norddeich, it is about your car.”

Baloo did not believe the other guy until he was phoned again by the police of Norddeich. They had no good news for him. At the airport of Norddeich the storm over turned one of the stationary planes. The plane overturned one and half times and then crashed onto the roof of a car. You can guess which car that was!? The car and the plane were written off.

Before the Airbus France employees had left Toulouse a box of wine was dropped breaking a number of bottles of extremely expensive fine wine.

The wine was intended to be drunk with a meal to be prepared by the French apprentices on the 21st August. It is uncertain who is to blame for the disaster but the culprit will be found, we know it happened before the wine was loaded on to the plane.
